SPECIAL REPORT: Radiation in your home

SPECIAL REPORT: Radiation in your home

wireless devices emit radiation

MILWAUKEE-Parents set up monitors to protect their infant, but they could actually be putting the child in danger.
According to "Building Biology Consultants" wireless devices, like remote security systems, video game remotes and baby monitors emit radiation that could be especially harmful to children.
"If there's a danger in your vicinity,"  environmental consultant Barbara Bobbitt  warns, "you want to be aware of it so you can avoid it."
Bobbitt  brought her radiation tested to a condo in Brookfield. She got some of her highest reading from the cordless phone.
The HD TV and cable box were fine, the laptop didn't registered much until the WI FI was turned on.
The iPAD sent the instrument pulsating, just as several cell phones did.
Her recommendations:
Using land lines instead of cordless or cell pones and using speaker or air tube headsets instead of blue tooth.
She also insists on keeping all wireless electronics, including baby monitors and game system remotes out of the bedroom, off your lap and out of your pockets.

And don't forget, NO "smart" meter either.
